utc_terms_description:<h2>SUMMARY OF IMPORTANT POINTS</h2><ul>
<li>All payments are to be made in advance by you (the Storer)</li> <li>Goods are stored at your risk. We recommend that you take out insurance cover.</li>
<li>The Facility Owner (the “FO”) is excluded from liability for the loss of any goods stored on its premises, except for laws which cannot be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law.</li>
<li>You must not store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, flammable, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods.</li>
<li>Unless specifically itemized and covered by insurance you must also not store goods that are irreplaceable such as currency, jewellery, furs, deeds, paintings, curios, works of art and items of personal sentimental value or items worth more than $2000 AUD in total. While the FO takes reasonable care to provide a secure Space, we cannot guard against all risks and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and therefore, we recommend that you take out insurance in relation to items you intend to store in the Space or store valuable goods in places specifically designed for this purpose (i.e. a safety deposit box).</li>
<li>The Space will only be accessible during set access hour as posted by the FO.</li>
<li>14 days’ notice must be given for termination of this agreement.</li>
<li>The Storer must notify the FO of all changes to their or the ACP’s address, email, telephone numbers or other contact details</li>
<li>If you fail to comply with material terms in this agreement the FO will have certain rights which include forfeiture of any Deposit and the right to seize and sell and/or dispose of your goods (see clause 6)</li>
<li>The FO may have the right to refuse access if all fees are not paid promptly (see clause 11)</li>
<li>The FO has the right to enter the Space in certain circumstances (see clauses 6, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 & 23)</li>
<li>The FO may use a microprobe or CCTV to view inside the Space and rely on footage to enforce the contract, and/or may release footage to authorities (see clause 21A) in certain circumstances, including where the FO reasonably suspects breach of the law or damage to premises.</li>
<li>The FO may discuss your account, any default and your details with the ACP. Upon termination, default, or death the FO may elect to release items to the ACP (see clause 10(i).</li>

Every October, Storage King stores around the nation turn pink to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every Storage King tea chest or carry box sold during the month of October, Storage King generously donates $1 to the McGrath Foundation. We are most proud of the fact that we have donated more than $130,000 in the 3 years.
Garage Sale Trail
Garage Sale Trail is happening right across Australia on Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 October 2020. It’s a big weekend encouraging us to put secondhand first and minimise our impact on the planet.
Garage Sale Trail happens with the support of Local Council partners across the country and nearly 400,000 bargain hunting, reuse loving Australians shopping and selling at more than 18,000 garage sale events Australia-wide.

We've supplied The Salvation Army with boxes and linen bags to assist in packing their hampers and gifts in time for Christmas.
Fiji Appeal by UNICEF Australia
Storage King have a special connection in Fiji as it was our first conference for Storage King outside of Australia or New Zealand. “Bula Fiji!” During that brief time, the Fijians hospitality and warmth left a mark in our hearts, so during the recent cyclone that ravaged this small island, Storage King supported the relief effort by donating more than $20,000 to help get the Fijians back on their feet.
Children Hospitals in Australia and New Zealand
Storage King stores across Australia and New Zealand have participated in the annual toy drives for the brave kids who are in Children's Hospitals during Christmas by donating hundreds of toys from our stores and customers.
The Family Toy and Book Appeal by The Smith Family
We donated 3,000 Storage King boxes to the annual toy and book appeal for The Smith Family which helped transport Christmas presents to 3,000 children across Australia. We hoped that our contribution provided a smile at Christmas on a lot of little faces!
Mummies Paying it Forward
Mummies Paying it Forward is a Sydney-based organisation created to support the most vulnerable people within our society, by providing preloved (in good condition) and brand new items to a wide range of local dedicated not-for-profit charities within New South Wales. Storage King supports by providing space and locations across Sydney to the community drives.
Cricket 4 Kids
Cricket4Kids was incorporated in December 2008 and had worked towards distributing preloved sporting equipment to communities around the world regardless of political, religious or economic positioning. Storage King supported Cricket 4 Kids by supplying stores as storage and drop off points in the state capital cities across Australia.
Caring Kids
CaringKids is a registered charity and toy recycling social enterprise dedicated to providing bespoke Toy Boxes for children who care for disabled or chronically ill family members.
As a supporter of the CaringKids Toy Box since December 2018, the team at Storage King assist CaringKids to achieve our mission supporting young carers and special needs siblings in the community.
Pass It On Clothing Co
Pass it on Clothing & Co is a Sydney based not-for-profit which puts your apparel, shoes and accessories donations directly in the hands of those who need it most. Founded in September 2016 by Chris Vagg and Olga Puga, Pass it on Clothing & Co has been instrumental in providing quality men’s and women’s clothes donations to Sydney’s homeless community, working to make charitable clothes giving more direct, efficient and effective.
Treasure Boxes
Treasure Boxes is a South Australian not-for-profit children's charity. We provide vital essentials to newborns, babies and children living in disadvantage within our community.

Lifeline Bookfair
Lifeline Canberra’s Bookfairs raise a major portion of the funding needed to keep our local crisis support service running.
