utc_terms_description:<h2>SUMMARY OF IMPORTANT POINTS</h2><ul>
<li>All payments are to be made in advance by you (the Storer)</li> <li>Goods are stored at your risk. We recommend that you take out insurance cover.</li>
<li>The Facility Owner (the “FO”) is excluded from liability for the loss of any goods stored on its premises, except for laws which cannot be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law.</li>
<li>You must not store hazardous, dangerous, illegal, stolen, flammable, perishable, environmentally harmful or explosive goods.</li>
<li>Unless specifically itemized and covered by insurance you must also not store goods that are irreplaceable such as currency, jewellery, furs, deeds, paintings, curios, works of art and items of personal sentimental value or items worth more than $2000 AUD in total. While the FO takes reasonable care to provide a secure Space, we cannot guard against all risks and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and therefore, we recommend that you take out insurance in relation to items you intend to store in the Space or store valuable goods in places specifically designed for this purpose (i.e. a safety deposit box).</li>
<li>The Space will only be accessible during set access hour as posted by the FO.</li>
<li>14 days’ notice must be given for termination of this agreement.</li>
<li>The Storer must notify the FO of all changes to their or the ACP’s address, email, telephone numbers or other contact details</li>
<li>If you fail to comply with material terms in this agreement the FO will have certain rights which include forfeiture of any Deposit and the right to seize and sell and/or dispose of your goods (see clause 6)</li>
<li>The FO may have the right to refuse access if all fees are not paid promptly (see clause 11)</li>
<li>The FO has the right to enter the Space in certain circumstances (see clauses 6, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 & 23)</li>
<li>The FO may use a microprobe or CCTV to view inside the Space and rely on footage to enforce the contract, and/or may release footage to authorities (see clause 21A) in certain circumstances, including where the FO reasonably suspects breach of the law or damage to premises.</li>
<li>The FO may discuss your account, any default and your details with the ACP. Upon termination, default, or death the FO may elect to release items to the ACP (see clause 10(i).</li>

How do I update my account details?
You can contact our store or our customer service team to change any details. Alternatively email through to the store and we can certainly get that changed for you. You can view your account details easily by logging in using your customer login details.
How do I know what unit size I need?
We have a handy space estimator to help you, size guides and we can take you through it over the phone, in store or on live chat. There are generally 8 different sizes to choose from but we can always customise to the right size for your needs once we know what you have to store.
What am I allowed to store?
Anything that is not explosive, flammable, illegale, perishable or environmentally harmful. We are always here to help so do not hesitate to give one of our experts a call to check. We store a lot of stuff so you never know unless you ask
Do you offer powered units?
Yes we do, some spaces come with it already installed and others we can install depending on your needs. There maybe small charge involved to cover the cost of installation or usage. Always best to check with your store team but the answer is yes.
Can I store fresh food or other perishable goods?
You cannot not store any goods that may be explosive, flammable, illegal, hazardous, environmentally harmful, perishable, decomposing or of an otherwise unsuitable nature for storage or that may become a risk to any person or property whatsoever.
Can you help me organise packing?
Yes we certainly can. We work alongside our preferred partners to make that happen for you.
Can you recommend a local removalist?
Yes we can reccomend a removalist or better yet organise one for you. Our movers range from local, interstate and international movers. They move thousands of our customers every week, so we know their service very well. You can benefit by getting preferential rates or even a turn key solution to all of your needs.
What kind of security measures are in place?
Our sites are equipped with surviellence equipment to ensure that you and your goods are safe. Our onsite staff keep a keen eye out and lots sites have individual alarms, premiter fencing, security lighting, controlled entries and CCTV camers to ensure you are handled with care.
Is my stuff insured?
You can choose to ensure your goods with us from as little as $1.50 per $1,000 cover per month.
How and when do I have to pay?
Generally you pay every month on the annivesary date you put your stuff into storage. We can tailor that date to date you choose but please let our team know in advance. You can pay via credit card, EFT, in store, cheque or online.
How often can I access my goods?
Everyone places a padlock on their space. But access is within the access hours in your store. This can vary from location. Lots of locations have extended hours access.
When can I access my goods?
Sign in via our office or entry gate and then unlock your padlock. You can always access your space between the access hours your store provides.
How do I cancel my booking?
Call us or email us at the store to cancel your booking
What if there are no stores near me?
We are in lots of locations around the country being one of the largest providers of self storage in Australia, New Zealand and UK. Chances are there is a store near you. On the rare chance we dont, give us a call, we know the local area very well and we might be able to help find you a solution.
Do you sell boxes and packing supplies?
Yes we do, check out our box shop online, call us or visit one of our stores. We have a large range of boxes, packing materials. Covers, tape, bubble wrap and our specialist 3M moving range to take care of everything. You can ask for a click and collect or deliver to your door.
How many boxes am I going to need?
Before you store, make sure to buy the right boxes and materials so you can pack your belongings according to categories: kitchen, living room, bathroom, garage, etc. It also helps to pack well so you can neatly organize your storage unit and make future access to your belongings easier. The easiest thing to do is speak to our experts or use our online wizard to give you a starting point. We have handy contacts to pack it all up and take it off your hands as well.
How do I update my payment details?
You can do so via phone, email or in store
Can I change the size of my storage unit at a later date?
You can upsize, add on or downsize anytime you like
What if I’m unpacking and find I chose the wrong size unit?
That is totally ok, we can always change the size
How much does storage cost?
Storage prices vary depending on the size, features and location that you need the storage space. We have spaces starting from small lockers to mini warehouses. Space can be as affordable as $1 a day
Who else can access my storage unit?
You alone control access to your storage unit, unless YOU choose to give someone else access. Once you take a space, access is controlled by you. If you provide someone your space number, key to the padlock and location of your store, you are providing access.
What happens if I move out early?
We generally need 14 days notice to vacate the space, but we understand that circumstances can change quickly. Give us a call early as possible and we can help you manage the rest.
What happens if I don’t pay?
We have a process where we try to make contact with you to seek a resolution. There is a procedure we follow if goods are abandoned. You can check in with your store for more details.
Do you offer specialist wine storage services?
Some of our locations do offer this specialised storage solution.
Can I return my boxes after use?
We like to provide brand new boxes because they hold their own integrity during a move and protect your goods in packing, moving and storage. You are welcome to check with your store, however we can take them back for you to recycle them.
Can I sleep in my unit?
You can work in your space but not sleep there. It is for your own safety!
Can I work in my unit?
Yes you can, many small businesses and trades use our store as warehouse. Many hobbyists set up spaces to organise, repair or maintain their collections in storage.
How do I book one of your meeting rooms?
Send our store an email or call them and they can book it in for you
Do I need to sign a contract in order to rent a unit?
We do have an agreement that is also in line with Self Storage Association of Australasia many other members. It is month to month so it is flexible to you. You can view the rental agreement here
What do I have to do before move-in day?
Use our express check in feature to save time. Our moving check list will help you move through the items before move -in day. But you will need to have moving and packing solution organised. Speak to our team to help you get that done.
I need a credit card to reserve a storage unit?
You can book in store with other payment forms such as cash, EFT or card payment. But online, yes you do.
Can I still access my stuff on public holidays?
If the store has gate access enabled via a pin code, yes you can.
What if I lose the keys to my storage unit?
Dont stress at all, we can organise to have the lock removed with your written permission.
I have some things in storage I want to throw out. Is there a cost for disposal?
It depends on the amount you are throwing out. Speak to your store house team about any costs.
What are my payment options?
Payment options are online, in store or by mail. Credit Card, Cash, Cheque, EFT.
What are my options for moving goods in and out of my unit?
We can help you with a reccommended removalist, discounted truck, van or trailer hire. Let us know early and we can make the arrangements for you
